here are the Historical releases for march! these are more mounted figures for the medieval Range were doing at the moment, they will be available to download on the 5th of the month on Myminifactory Tribes/patreon, and the Metal figures will be available in the next few days aswell
so the first kit this month is the 6 Mounted English archers, these figures are intended to represent archers Travelling to Battle prior to Dismounting, they are all in resting travelling poses, these have been done with early 1300s in mind, 2 of the figures are wearing basonets which place them in the later period, but the other 4 are perfectly suitable for mid 1200s, all the figures have a variety of blankets and bags on the rider, because of the different saddle blankets, on a couple of horse/rider match ups youll potentially need to trim the reins shorter to put the rider in a correct spot,
for dismounts for the mounted Archers, have a look at the english Archers/Medieval Archers from the 100years war or medieval Range
the 2nd kit are mounted Crossbowmen, this was a kit i didnt get around to the first time around with medievals, and because of that was done to fit 1250-1400 as opposed to strictly 100YW, like the archers these crossbowmen are travelling to battle or there position before dismounting, and as such none of them are firing from horseback,
For dismounts for the crossbowmen the older medieval crossbowmen kit are more fitting then the Genoese Crossbowmen packs who have more armour, but theres enough similar ones with the right paintjob it will work
Next months medievals are either Mounted Men at arms, likely 6 Spear 6 Hand weapons, these would be far more armoured then the hobilars, more akin to the pavisers, the other alternate release is 4 mounted commend sets, the mounted commend sets would be, very similar to the infantry commanders we just did, except mounted, so it would be Mounted Archer commanders, Mounted Light infantry commanders, Mounted Infantry commanders, Mounted Knight Commanders, reguardless which comes first there both happening,
